Abstract
This is a case study in which modern Japan, where excessive assertion of rights has become a social problem in a democratic society of rights and obligations, is evaluated as a biased and individualistic society in the eyes of the international community. Excessive assertion of rights (customer harassment) and reverse harassment (claims, fraudulent acts) are social problems that arise in the process of democratic development. In this study, we summarize and report the results of research on the problem of excessive demand for services and excessive claims of rights that are socially accepted by AI standards in the age of SNS, and excessive claims of rights that lead to fraudulent acts, based on cases encountered by the authors, and research results on how to deal with them, taking into account different international perceptions and academic analysis.
