Abstract

The spread of the next generation of commercial solar power generation applied to parking lots, farming, mountains, and oceans is linked to the spread of the final consumption value as a social infrastructure from the power consumption characteristics. When developing business by connecting to existing infrastructure due to deregulation, power generation costs, transmission costs, and storage costs are the basics. This study attempted to estimate the economic efficiency of a non-transmission type electric power business using hydrogen fuel and lithium-ion batteries, which will spread to the next generation and whose basic technology has now been elucidated. With the addition of a social tailwind, this is a report on the results of cost calculations that have revealed the superiority of hydrogen and tritium-ion batteries, the fourth energy source newly added to power transmission, city gas, and petroleum fuel.
