Abstract
Globalization has accelerated cultural exchange and integration, bringing diverse development opportunities to regional cultures. However, the widespread dissemination of globalized culture has increasingly highlighted the issue of cultural homogenization, gradually weakening traditional cultural practices and local characteristics. Changes in individual identity have also posed challenges to the inheritance and innovation of local cultures. This paper systematically explores the dual impacts of globalization on regional cultures, analyzing aspects such as the expansion of cultural industries, the frequent interactions of migration and cross-cultural exchanges, and the role of technological dissemination in promoting cultural preservation and development. Additionally, it examines the diverse practices demonstrated by regional cultures in adapting to and resisting globalization, including the rise of cultural identity movements and the innovative applications of technology-driven solutions. By analyzing the challenges faced by regional cultures, this paper proposes practical strategies to support the sustainable development of regional cultures in the context of globalization.
