This paper describes the results of a field test of micro-hydropower generation using a lab size generator. It is hoped that the use of small-scale hydropower generation will be expanded. Currently, solar power generation accounts for a large share in renewable energy sources. In addition to solar, wave and, wind power, hydropower generation should be increased in the future in order to reduce the use of energy sources such as oil and coal which is not sustainable and is also carbon generating. To increase the output of micro-hydropower generation, it is necessary to improve the efficiency of a water wheel and the generator.
