Yellowtail aquaculture administration is now facing to the serious and long-term recession, because of the low price in selling and the high cost in production. Then the effectiveness of scale enlargement upon its administration has been argued for a long time. Under this backgrounds, in this study, the merits and competitiveness of large scale establishment in yellow tail fish farming are verified with the analysis of real situations.
The compex usage of fishing grounds depend on the fish size in the cages has brought high efficiency. The dispersive location of cages has prevented diseases and red tides, and also has realized the all season supply to the market.
Meanwhile, FCA（Fisheries cooporative association） is the cordinater of fishing grounds. FCA has an obligation to the environment. FCA must try to use fishing grounds for the public interest. But each large scale establishment must try to use fishing grounds for their own benefit from short-term perspective. There we can find a big conflict.
How should we set the relationship or should we separate the function assignment between FCA and large scale establishments? The entry of the large scale establishments has raised new questions over the usage of fishing grounds in fish farming. We must study and discuss about this matter as soon as possible.
