Abstract

A 48 year-old male, who had malignant hemangiopericytoma on the left foot with metastasis to the left lung and forehead, underwent agressive surgical treatment. Both tumors resected from the left foot and the left lung were transplanted successfully into nude mice rate of proliferation of both tumors in nude mice was almost the same. The transplanted tumors were used for sensitivity tests of anti-cancer drugs. The results of the sensitivity tests showed that the same drugs, ie, CPM and CQ, were effective against both tumors.
