Abstract
A pulsed cold neutron beam for the study of neutron optics and fundamental physics (NOP) is under construction as the BL05 of the spallation neutron source of the J-PARC. The NOP beamline has three beam branches, which provide the highly-polarized beam, high intensity beam and low divergence beam for the neutron decay experiment, the neutron scattering experiment and the neutron interferometry experiment, respectively. We overview the physics to be studied at the NOP beamline at its beginning stage.
