Bacillus subtilis, B. prodigiosus, B. proteus, vulgaris, B. pyocyaneus, Bacterium typhosum, Corynebacterium diphtheriae and Vibrio cholerae coinoculated subcutaneously or intraperitoneally produce no influence upon the onset of murine leprosp in white rats. While, the inititation of the disease is inhibited after the inoculation with the murine leprosy bacillus on the animals predisposed with the human and avian tubercle bacilli deprived of the acid-resistence or with bone-charcol.
