Abstract

Chenia leptophylla (Müll.Hal.) R.H.Zander (Pottiaceae), a cosmopolitan moss species is reported here as a new genus and species record for Thailand. It occurs on soils near the Bhu Ping Palace, Doi Suthep-Pui National Park, Chiang Mai Province, Northern Thailand. A brief description and photographs are provided.
