The Mie Prefectural Plan Toward the Creation of a Model Community for the Formation of a Hydrogen Society

Abstract

In Mie Prefecture, we are applying the industrial qualities of technology, know-how, talented personnel and infrastructure we have cultivated in our prefecture until now, to fuel cell and hydrogen-related technology, which has environmentally excellent characteristics.

We would now like to introduce our efforts to create a strong research - development base and the concentration of related industries through promoting the support of verification experiments, dissemination of information, and increased awareness outside Mie Prefecture.
