Energy Monitoring System with Wireless Sensor Modules

Abstract

In this paper, we describe a novel energy monitoring system with wireless sensor modules.The objective of our research was to calculate the power consumption in a number of rooms to store and display the measured date on personal computers. For measuring the data, we used wireless sensor modules each consisting of Arduino with XBee. This monitoring system can monitor the swiching of ceiling lights and calculate the power consumpition in each room.
