The Lessons of Crosscultural Understanding

Abstract

This report shows how we have carried out the programs to promote the Japanese studentsʼ crosscultural understanding, which includes two sides: i) realizing another way of thinking when the students come to our college from the Philippines, and ii) explaining their own culture when the Japanese students try to talk about it in Manila. The procedures in the lessons are introduced and examined, while leaving fundamental issues.
