Abstract

Energy problem is related to the various fields of society, this is a problem that gives a big impact on global warming. In Europe, in order to realize a low-carbon society, and develop a power generation system that does not rely on nuclear power, with a focus on renewable energies, it has been constructed for the new power supply system. In Japan, although renewable energy is to be noted, still rely a lot on conventional power generation systems, such as thermal power generation and nuclear power generation, path to a low-carbon society in the current situation is not attached is there. This paper describes an overview on past efforts, and proposes an education program for realizing a comprehensive, systematic learning on energy and environmental issues.
