Abstract

The purpose of this study is to grasp festival and event related Kaidenma, to sort the document from field work, and to see Kaidenma`s future without obstruction. The results are summarized below:1. It is very likely that Kaidenma`s origin was Kumano district and it spread to Setouchi sea district.2. It is for continuation festival and event of Kaidenma important to raise not just boat race value but also a lot of cultural value to increase participant and supporter.
