Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the history of industrial development in Thailand in relation to the development of vocational education through the "Thailand 4.0" framework and to clarify the background of the emergence of KOSEN Educational Model in Thailand."Thailand 4.0" is the national economic strategy vision for 2036 and is expressed as a framework of four stages. Looking at Thailand's economic development according to this framework, the transition of the industrial structure from agriculture to light industry, and from light industry to heavy industry, has become apparent. The development of technical education has also expanded and developed in response.
