This article is a report on the reproduction of a gutskin bag which was modeled after a Western Alaska Eskimo artifact stored in the Hokkaido Museum of Northern Peoples. ICHIKAWA succeeded in preparing the gutskin from a Sea lion and YA TOMI made it into a bag after several attempts. There is a little information about gutskin or intestine as materials, also as actual artifact in Japan. The experience and learning from the making processes is valuable and such a model bag is useful for the museum.
