The characteristic limits defined in ISO 11929 applied to activity measurements

Abstract

ISO 11929 (all parts) is an international idustrial standard of determination of the characteristic limits (decision threshold、 detection limit and limits of the coverage interval) for measurements of ionizing radiation. The characteristic limits can be used for evaluating capabilites of the measurment.　We introduced how we determine them and evaluate the capabilities of the measurement by using them.
