Abstract
The new concepts based on digital technology such as IoT and Industry 4.0 are well known recently and new businesses with changing business model have been developed. This change is called “Digital Transformation (DX)” and has become a trend worldwide. Japanese manufacturing industries try to adapt DX. However, they cannot transform their current business model or process to maximize benefit using digital technology. In this paper, the authors discuss the way of adopting DX with remaining the advantage of Japanese company and as a practical means, the validity of applying P2M to manage Japanese DX is explained with some examples.
