The study investigated the influence of consumer ‘s involvement and knowledge on information searching behavior. Specially, the study examined how Chinese tourists search and use information according to the different level of “nvolvement /knowledge” in fashion purchasing of the stay in Japan, and seek marketing and communication strategies for destination. The results confirmed that “involvement /knowledge” positively affected information searching behavior. Self-evaluated knowledge and involvement on fashion has a strong impact on the tourist purchase behavior at the destination. The higher the involvement and knowledge of fashion, the more likely they are to purchase gifts for their ownselves (self-gifts) and gifts for others (other-gifts) too.

Members who driving the innovative business are required to discover and define problems from collected primary sources on their fields. Nevertheless the skills for discovering and defining are depended on the personal experiences and problem consciousness, the project studies and the PBL etc. which are for engineering education at the universities mostly focus on the skills for solving problems. In this study, we proposed the method of collecting primary sources with consciousness of decoupling both primary sources and interpretation, for field studies of discovering the problem. Under the consideration of the relationship with Profiling management of P2M, we discussed the usefulness of the method through the trial experiment.

Cost reduction is indispensable to strengthen competitiveness of companies. To make it happen, it is important to improve productivity by energy reduction and labor saving, but usually the companies rely on “Gemba”, there factories and working sites, to implement it. When the company’s order is cost reduction by outsourcing, manufacturing sites may be confused by luck of their experience normanual ,and they will be obliged to confront difficulties while learning by trial and error .To solve this situation, it is required to produce the situation by contriving the method that suits each sites, redefining the mission , and utilizing the capability of production sites. To enhance the capability, the program manager who can grasp the current situation and propose new hypothesis are needed. This report is written as preliminary study on the role and necessary action of the program manager who would maximize the capability of production sites to enhance companies’ competitiveness.

Conventional, IT system development organizations have selectively utilized the two techniques: plan-driven method in which requirements are defined and baselined in early phase of the project and agile method which is based on iterative development. Recently, the research articles that reported a hybrid approach that uses plan-driven and agile method together have been on the rise. However, few theoretical studies have investigated the contextual conditions that illustrates a better fit for hybrid approach, called effective area. This research is aimed to provide an analysis model of hybrid approach by evaluating project characteristics and iteration development strategy. Our model and numerical simulations present that a hybrid approach should be fit with wider context of project characteristics than the agile method. By investigating the effective area with multiple parameters, this research would contribute to a growing literature of hybrid approach and a methodology for project manager or project management office to choose hybrid approach appropriately.

In the journals of International Association of Project and Program Management, there are preceding studies about the importance and necessity of program approach in Japan’s ODA activities. JICA, the agency responsible for Japan’s ODA, also issues “JICA Project Management Handbook” and introduces how to deal with ODA programs. In this thesis, based on the preceding studies and JICA’s approaches, a method of universal and effective method of profiling of ODA programs is proposed by studying an actual ODA project in which the author is involved in Bangladesh. The procedure of program formulation is clarified and also the tips to increase the possibility of realization of the program are introduced. More concretely, feasibility of realization of the program was increased by formulating the program in a technical cooperation project and giving it the status of national strategy.

In recent years, the risks in each model of the plan (scheme), planning (System) and implementation (service) are increasingly in promoting the project. The project is carrying out on identifying risks and clarifying responses. In this study, authors show the decision-making method, AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) analysis which leads to the identification of the risk in the P2M 3s model. The decision-making process of risk management is considered using Analytic Hierarchy Process.

With an aging population there are increasing demands on Functional Recovery Care (F.R.C) for the patients requiring nursing care, in other words can patients start taking care of themselves. Family members and other care givers as well as patients also want to see patients become more independent. In this study we evaluated independent nurses and care staff who took care of patients who needed Functional Recovery Care (especially walking support) at the beginning stage. We also analyzed the service value and the QCD (Q= quality, C= cost D = deliver time). We came to the conclusion that the nurses and care staff were (and still are) unable to provide sufficient Functional Recovery Care due to inadequate education and a lack of training. Based on this investigation and these results, we are planning to develop an effective education service for Functional Recovery Care staff. This service is based on the P2M framework. The new concepts based on digital technology such as IoT and Industry 4.0 are well known recently and new businesses with changing business model have been developed. This change is called “Digital Transformation (DX)” and has become a trend worldwide. Japanese manufacturing industries try to adapt DX. However, they cannot transform their current business model or process to maximize benefit using digital technology. In this paper, the authors discuss the way of adopting DX with remaining the advantage of Japanese company and as a practical means, the validity of applying P2M to manage Japanese DX is explained with some examples.

In the project management knowledge, there are the easy one to make to explicit knowledge and the difficult one. For example, making the knowledge of quantitative management process to explicit knowledge is relatively easy. However, as for the predicting risk or handling problems, it is difficult to make explicit because most of them are tacit knowledge acquired through experience. So, it is difficult to transfer implicit knowledge. The challenge to apply AI (Artificial Intelligence) to the project management has been started. In this research, knowledge classification model for project management of software development is proposed. The knowledge is classified by the viewpoint that AI can substitute or supplement the project management activity. The model can be used for utilizing the AI and transferring the knowledge. Some case studies for applying AI to project management are shown which utilize the knowledge classification model.

The huge change of social environment occurs suddenly. So the top management cannot assume ”ambiguous overall mission”. We will face many cases that ”social environment” overtakes company. Different industries create Social Innovation that can respond to future social needs and individual solution. Finally conventional management and business will be lost. Successfully experienced top management cannot assume ”ambiguous overall mission”. But in order to embody Social Innovation, the counter measures of P2M theory to work effectively for Social Innovation is necessary. Before applying the Scheme model especially for Social Innovation, we had better construct “Pre-scheme model”. The “Pre-scheme model” can obviously convince the top management of bottom-up proposal. As a result, the top management can issue ”ambiguous overall mission”. In this paper with showing some case study, I will propose the effectiveness of “Pre-scheme model” for Social Innovation and the hypothesis of the integrated management for constructing “Pre-scheme model”.

In Japan, in the face of situations such as a decrease in the productive age population accompanying the declining birthrate and the aging of the birthrate, diversification of working styles, etc., we are working to improve productivity, create an environment where employment opportunities can expand, Has been advanced. In such circumstances, I think that the role of human resources service industry, which realizes the mobilization of human resources, becomes increasingly important. However, in the human resources service industry, there are few experts with sufficient experience and skills, and even if we rapidly advance human resource development, we recognize that it is a situation not supplementing the shortfall. Therefore, in this paper, we show the effectiveness of the P2M theory in the approach using the artificial intelligence technology applied to the situation of the shortage of experts in the human resources service industry, and show the effectiveness of the P2M theory in the effort and show artificial intelligence Discuss the effectiveness of the technology.

The LPWA Alliance in the IoT business is positioned as an ecosystem that keeps Keystone enterprises as carriers and device manufacturers as niche companies because the networks that can be used are limited by the communication method. However, end users are unable to understand the value of the communication infrastructure because they are invisible, and find value in the capabilities of the hands-on devices, so in value creation for customers, the technology of device manufacturers, niche companies Power and product power are important key factors. Furthermore, for device makers LPWA Alliance · ecosystem is easy to transfer to other LPWA ecosystem by using communication modules properly, it is important for communication companies to be selected as a device manufacturer as well. Therefore, it is decisive how keystone enterprises can attract niche companies. In this paper, it is effective to make use of P2M's platform management to maintain autonomous and smooth relationship when collaborating with each other in such dependence and advancing value creation will be discussed.

Most companies need to create not only existing services’ improvements but also breakthrough services. At the same time, designers are required to propose ideas and schemes of new services. In order to launch projects form ideas, the inventor must have visions of the ideas clearly to present the attractions of the proposal to various people and show the meaning to make the projects. In this paper, we attempted to trial experiments to introspect and clarify to improve idea transmission ability the visions of ideas by using the Inverted Triangle, a writing support tool used in elementary school English education in the United States. The results show the tendencies to improve in both subjective evaluation and objective evaluation.

As the aim of the collaborative research program “W-BRIDGE” is to design, implement, and to develop the environmental activity model, it has found various projects selected through public invitation. By supporting those projects, W-BRIDGE builds the model to spread to the society. In order to solve environmental problems without high economical rationality, projects involved in W- BRIDGE focuses on environmental interest as much as economical ones. As a Co-design approach is taken in the process, projects are accordingly transformed from initially planned, the model is improved to be more effective and more practice. This report analyzes the effect of a Co-design approach through projects for the past 10 years.

The local community is become collapsing, and making it difficult for the administration and citizens communicate. In particular, the opportunities for human resources before adolescence to participate in the regional community that has been functioning as a place of lifelong learning so far have been reduced, which is one of the reasons for the progressive disparity between generations and regions. Toward the revitalization of the local community, improvement of schemes that citizens of adolescents can act actively is required. In this research, propose with the trial experiment the organizational structure and operation method for encouraging citizen's subjective activities based on the previous research related to network organization and promotion of ideas, on the premise of constructing a flexible and distributed community in which adolescents are easy to participate.

The networking technology surrounding ‘Internet of Things, Data, Services, Human Resource’ is developing. In large-scale project, one of the key factor is monitoring to a report to submit from the management to the workforce location and of work volume, these are applied with calculation of productivity and safety report. However, the problem lies in the construction inaccurate reports for productivity and actual manpower work at site. Monitoring the number of workers and craft mix on critical-path activities in project control schedule are no other way to count by human power the actual mobilization on site In terms of safety, existing safety control such as security gate control applied with NFC (Near Field Communication) cannot be monitored every worker’s location in the construction site and thus find out who is ineffective in the project or haven’t escaped from an accident scene. This may be caused by the workforce behavior, unsafe habits particular to mega-project or intentional inaccurate data reporting. Therefore, the authors propose field labor safety and mobilization control methodology applied with IoT.

Program management is expected to manage the created values by past projects to take over to launching projects and on-going projects in the program. However, the continuity value created by the project (such as knowledge, experience, and skills, etc.) is intangible value. Therefore, the value is accumulated in the virtual space in the individuals’ head involved the project. The authors recognize the connecting network among the multiple virtual spaces as Itami’s ‘Ba’. The project value succession in programs is to transform the project value to the fundamental elements of the ‘Ba’ (agenda, semantic interpretation code, information carrier, solidarity desire) and to hand over the transformed project value to another project organizations. In this paper, the authors discussed and described the structure and process of this value transformation.

Three years ago, I acknowledged Industrie 4.0 based on IoT. Next, in 2016, Society 5.0 was decided as the core policy of the 5th Science and Technology Basic Plan. I surveyed some articles and reports on Industrie 4.0 and Society 5.0. However, most of the articles that have been written focus on only one of them. Therefore, I began to seek opportunities to research the relation between Industrie 4.0 and Society 5.0, SMEs in Industrie 4.0 and regional problems in Society 5.0. In this report, I would like to focus on following two items: (1) The relation between Industrie 4.0 and Society 5.0 (2) SMEs in Industrie 4.0 and regional problems in Society 5.0

In this paper proposes functions to support value index management using ICT, especially in platform promoting diverse and extensive program activities. First, present a schematic design of ”Inter- net of Program Management (IoPM)”. And as one of its components, examined the function suitable for management using the evaluation indicators and targets of the program based on the statistical analysis of various actual values of new product development in 250 major companies. As a result, revealed are 18 items out of the 33 performance indicators candidates showed a distribution that can be analyzed by fac- tor analysis, ”profitability of new products” is the objective variable as ”Key Performance Indicator (KPI)” that suitable for mathematically extracting ”Key Goal Indicator (KGI)”, and ”patent registration success rate” was the only KPI as plan and evaluate in the product development process that positively correlated with ”profit ratio of the new product”. These suggest that can be implemented support for choosing program planning and evaluation indicator using factor analysis, but there is a need to human intervene to setting target value of each indicator in order to support value indicator management by uti- lizing ICT.

Building of the mechanism of development of product support, productive facilities and a sales management to cooperate in net technology globally is desired in IoT era in particular, but it becomes important to make the validity of those R&D investment clear. Focusing on the R&D investment evaluation and promotion of the enterprises have currently faced, I describe the solution approach from the angle of the program management.

Theory of P2M, which is based on PDCA cycle management, was built with the intension of managing special mission work in commercial business companies. It has been identified that it works well at research and development as well as software system development. But a try-and-error based management becomes more effective on creating a new service by using software and developing social systems, because advance in the Internet and digital technology made it possible to shorten time of service development. In this paper in response to the need for management of social system development, such as Society 5.0 conception, the existing theory of P2M is reflected in terms of building theory by using qualitative data through careful observation of the phenomena, referring Christensen & Carlile (2009). And research questions of effective management for short term program and social system development in which multi-purpose valuation should be considered will be discussed.

P2M is an excellent method as a management that links the innovation theme given by the owner as a mission and connects it to business. In Integration Management, Profiling Management and Program Strategy Management define a strategy that leads the program to success. However, it does not mention how to derive the mission from its program owner as its origin. To develop innovation, it is important to create this innovation theme and its research is desired. This paper considers this point and proposes new management.
