Burn Area Extraction Method by Depth with Image Processing

This study proposes a method to extract burn areas by depth. Extraction of burns was performed in two parts. Seeds were extracted by performing k-means on a two-dimensional histogram. Seeds are used to extract burn regions by Growcut. The resulting accuracy was 83.6% for second-degree burns and 61.8% for third-degree burns.
