In this talk, we will give some method of construction and classification of self-orthogonal and self-dual codes over rings of order four. We will also introduce the notion of duality for codes over non-unital rings, and will also discuss about quasi self-dual codes. This discussion is a compilation of some of my recent works with different co-authors.
