It is my pleasure to send the congratulatory address to you for the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) for organizing a joint seminar. The applicant, the Biophilia Institute, has requested us to publish the joint seminar proceedings in the journal Biophilia in the event of its acceptance. The review by the representative scientific organizations, PAN and JSPS of the two countries was concluded, and the application was accepted. We had been asked again to publish the papers in Biophilia, so we started to prepare for it. It led to the publication of this issue of Biophilia. Although the conference is not positioned as a conference presentation of the International Biophilia Rehabilitation Academy, I understand that it is also a seminar on our activities. There is a COVID-19 influence; therefore, the meeting is held by Zoom. Anyway we feel that the conference's content will be linked to the diversification of interventions in rehabilitation medicine. I sincerely wish you to be a fruitful meeting! Thank you.
