Decomposition of organic contaminants in water is achieved using pulsed high voltage barrier discharge in atomized water in oxygen. We obtained 58% of TOC (Total Organic Carbon) reduction in 200mL water after 22 times circulation through the reactor. Energy consumption in the discharge was 5W and maximum efficiency for TOC reduction of rohdamine B was 0.33µg/J.
