Remake Effect of Simplex in Electron Swarm Method

Abstract

A simplex algorithm is applied to estimate the momentum transfer cross section of Ar. It is revealed that the algorithm, in which a remake of simplex is added to the conventional downhill-simplex one, is very effective in both accuracy and computation time. The ionization cross section of Ar is also estimated using a multi-step method based on the present algorithm.
