Error Prediction of the Point Matching Method for EM Scattering from a Conducting Rectangular Cylinder

The point matching method can perform very precise electromagnetic simulation, however, error analysis still remains to be a difficult task. We propose a novel approach to predict the computational error and discuss the way to select proper truncation mode numbers.
