Analyses and Evaluations of Generated Electrical Voltage, Current and Release Electrical Power of Al/Polar LB Film/Al

Abstract

Analyses of Al/Polyimide LB film (non-polar)/Au structure were reported in our previous paper. Analyses of Al/C₁₂TCNQ LB film (polar)/Al structure are carried out in the present paper. Resistance, a generated voltage, a generated current and an electrical power released to the outside are analyzed, and they are evaluated. The present samples of Al/C₁₂TCNQ LB film/Al structure are completely different from the samples of Al/Polyimide LB film/Au structure, because the LB films of the former samples are polar and they have the electrical field in regard to the non-polar LB films of the latter samples. And the latter samples have the difference of the work function between Al and Au.
