Effects of electrical stimulation on yield of Agitake mushroom (Pleurotus jp takizawa) in sawdust-bed cultivation using high voltage pulses were investigated experimentally. The pulsed voltage was applied to the sawdust-bed using a high-voltage generator based on Cockcroft-Walton circuit. The input energy was controlled by number of the high-voltage pulse applying to the sawdust-bed. The experimental results showed that the yield of fruit body increased to be 2.0 times larger by applying high-voltage pulses at 0.68 J (30 kV, 60 times applying voltage) input energy. The increment of the yield by applying voltage had maximum at optical input energy.
