Abstract

Electrical treeing determines lifetime of solid insulating media in power equipment. A non-destructive observation method in non-transparent sample is needed to evaluate propagation of electrical trees. In this paper, we report observation results of electrical trees in unfilled and filled epoxy by X-ray phase contrast imaging.
