Abstract

This research assesses the effect of autonomic nerve on wavelength bandwidth. In red light and blue light, broad wavelength band light becomes 4 times as wide as narrow wavelength band light. We regulate to impress as the same color between broad wavelength band and narrow wavelength band. Horizontal illuminance of their light is 17lx at subject’s eye. This experiment measures skin temperature and electrocardiogram as autonomic nerve indices. In red light, wavelength bandwidth affects sympathetic nerve and parasympathetic nerve. In blue light, wavelength bandwidth does not affect sympathetic nerve and affects the parasympathetic nerve. This result suggests the possibility that wavelength bandwidth affect autonomic nerve.
