DC voltage generation in metal/insulator/metal (MIM) structures of LB films prepared in 1986-1987 is reported in the present paper. The characteristics of the voltage generation are similar to those when the MIM structures were prepared. According to the experimental facts, it is suggested that the cause of voltage generation is due to some kind of electro-motive force generated in the MIM structures except of chemical reaction.
