Abstract
A new algorithm of the analysis of electron swarm parameters in gas based on the dispersion relation of the Boltzmann equation is presented. The hydrodynamic dispersion curve is obtained by solving the eigenvalue problem of the Boltzmann equation. It is shown that TOF parameters (both of α and ω parameters) of electron swarm can be easily and exactly derived by the least square curve fitting of the polynomial expansion of a dispersion curve. Some recent calculating results on SF6 gas are presented.
