All-solid-state batteries, which replace the organic electrolytes used in existing lithium-ion batteries with inorganic solid electrolytes in powder form, are being developed as next-generation batteries for electric vehicles due to their higher safety, and the potential for fast charging and large capacity. However, replacing the electrolyte from a liquid organic electrolyte to a solid inorganic electrolyte increases the dependency of battery performance on the electrode structure, necessitating the optimization of battery structure through the observation of micro electrode structures. This paper specifically discusses the observation techniques for the electrode structures of all-solid-state batteries.
