Abstract

In this paper, we developed a quartz oscillator based viscosity/concentration sensor. This sensor combines a capacitive sensor and a quartz crystal microbalance with a microfluidic circuit. This sensor can measure the concentration and the viscosity of liquids as a time lag signal of the frequency response. We measured the concentration and the viscosity of aqueous solution of glucose with this sensor. From this result, we evaluated the sensor performance.
