The theme of the 2015 annual research project was “what the approach of Intercultural Education in the field and the practice is”. To examine this problem, we discuss two questions. One is how the researcher’s ways of participation in the field affects the process and the interpritation in their research. The other is to whom the researchers need to transmit their research outcomes, with what sorts of media, toward the changes of the fields and the practices.
At the symposium three researchers (Kishi, Makiko & Uchida, Chiharu & Minamiura, Ryosuke) gave the presentations about their interaction and approach to the field. Then, to facilitate further discussions, the commentator (Notsu, Takashi) discussed two questions.
The result shows the variation of researcher’s participation develops the possibility of a diverse interactions between the researchers and the fields, and generate the field-generated knowledge: clinical knowing. For further development of Intercultural Education in a social context, we need to set the proper subject and media for the each purpose when we transmit the research outcomes.
