Medical library should produce good users on the use of the medical literature. Now, Tokyo Women's Medical College Library offer to the fourth year student instruction in the medical literature searches. Instruction is given by means of lecture and practical exercise. Library staff members serve as instructors. The content is lecture on such subjects as medical literature and biomedical bibliographic resources and practically exercise themselves in literature searching. Evaluation of the lecture by student has been generally favorable.
