日本三大死因をキーワードとして抽出した被引用回数上位論文の PubMed における Publication Types 調査

Background: Kyushu University Medical librarians are transferred to other branches or central libraries before a good enough understanding of EBM (Evidence Based Medicine). In this paper, I will elucidate why EBM articles are imperative for database users. I will investigate the use of title words associated to articles cited the most times relating to the three Japanese major causes of death in PubMed Publication Types.
Purpose: This article searches the relation between Web of Science Cited Times and PubMed Publication Types as the indicator of the importance of EBM articles.
Method: The articles of which the title contains the words “cancer”, “breast cancer”, “myocardial infarction”, or “stroke” were retrieved on the Web of Science. Moreover the information of PubMed Publication Types was added to the top 20 most cited articles of the search results. Then the articles were compared with the perspectives of journal name, cited references, times cited, publication year, page, and publication types.
Results: Ratio of the articles which have evidence is from 50% to 70% on the areas of breast cancer, myocardial infarction, and stroke, however, each publication type had less than 11% in PubMed.
Conclusion: It was shown that evidence to Publication Type articles was quoted more often than in other articles.
