A new clinical training system was started in April 2004. The Kochi University Integrated Information Center (Library), Medical School Branch, has been sharing two Japanese reference databases, “Medical Online” and “JDream”, with local hospitals where medical students at Kochi University have been working as clinical residents since October 2004. Here, the library connection/cooperation between Kochi University and these local hospitals is reported.
