SQ 29, 852 and manidipine were administered to M-SHRSP already showing cerebrovascular lesion or M-SHRSP with head enlargement seemingly an indicator of more serious brain lesions. Although blood pressures for the two groups varied after treatment, symptoms were restored immediately and angionecrosis of the vessels of brain, heart, kidneys and testes disappeared under either treatment. Furthermore, a healing process for the brain liras recognized, wherein glial scars with iron granule cells were found to be small for rats without head enlargement but to be large for rats with head enlargement.
