This paper introduces a post-processing of YCbCr4:2:0 compressed image for color printer. Most of the image coding standards such as JPEG employ YCbCr4:2:0 chrominance format. YCbCr4:2:0 image reconstructed at a decoder needs to be up-sampled to YCbCr4:4:4 image, which is eventually transformed to CMY color space for printing. State-of-the-art up-sampling methods that exploit inter-channel correlation work properly for non-compressed images. However, they do not take account of the fact that the inter-channel correlation is hampered by coding noises. In this context, we propose an integrated post-processing that comprises coding noise suppression and chrominance up-sampling, both of which use the same local map.
