Abstract
Locking key and pass card authentication are used as physical entrance to room management method. Though these methods are often used having robbery and risk of the loss, it is widely used, since these are simple methods. Recently a biometrics certification also attracts attention. A biometrics certification is the individual identification that used active features and physical feature of the human. There is an advantage of not counterfeiting this method easily, and the fingerprint certification and the iris verification begin to spread. However, special motion for the individual identification is necessary for these methods. This study built in certification system in daily action of holding the door knob, and it aims at the construction of seamless individual certification system in which the user does not feel the certification action. Experimental results in comparing palmprint images of grasped motion have shown the effectiveness of the proposed method.
