抄録

　The Solution Building Inventory (SBI) measures three components of solution-focused therapy: exceptions, solutions, and hope in the future. The aim of this study was to develop the SBI for children (SBI-C) and evaluate its reliability and validity. Exploratory factor analysis resulted in 14 items on one factor. Confirmatory factor analysis supported the validity of the SBI-C. Cronbach’s α=.909, and the SBI-C positively correlated with measures of hope and optimism.
