The snow that falls and accumulates in the Japanese Islands every winter is a valuable water resource for our country while snowmelt runoff has the capacity to cause floods. Therefore, It is very important to forecast how various elements of the snow will change. So, the snow rise and fall model is proposed as a model where various elements of the snow are estimated and reproduced from meteorological data. In this paper, we estimated the value of two constants η_0, k that composed the compressive viscosity coefficient, that influenced the snow depth, by the method of least squares based on the observational data of 11 points from Hokkaido to Hokuriku.
