This paper describes a waveform recording system for biological signals. The system consists essentially of a PIC (Peripheral Interface Controller) and a MMC (Multimedia Card). The electronics circuit of the system is shown. The basic characteristics were measured. The 10-bit analog-to-digital conversion with a sampling frequency of up to 2 kHz was confirmed. When the waveform was recorded, the system consumed an electric current of about 10mA. The ystem can be continuously recording for about 100 hours using alkaline AAA batteries.
