Abstract
Conventional pruning harms trees, increasing costs and impairing their functions. In contrast, structural pruning leverages natural growth to correct defects over time. I have been training professionals in key techniques like selecting a dominant trunk and correcting flaws. This approach minimizes harm, enhances safety, and preserves the tree's environmental benefits. Where necessary, modified crown reduction is applied. Furthermore, proper planting design with species selection and soil improvement lowers long-term maintenance costs.
