Abstract
A case of retroperitoneal liposarcoma has been presented and the clinical and pathological manifestations of the disease discussed. Liposarcoma is known to be a rare entity in Japan and during the last ten years only a few retroperitoneal liposarcomas have been reported.
Recent studies indicate that irradiation provides an effective adjunct to primary surgical excision.
