Abstract
61-years-old man was admitted to the hospital because of general fatigue and diarrhea. Examinations revealed an enlarged liver of soft consistence, hypoproteinemia and a marked albuminuria.
Increased amounts of amyloid deposits were demonstrated by both liver and kidney biopsies.
The authors also reviewed the literatures regarding amyloidosis.
