Using survivor curve computed from his materials and age-distribution of time from onset of tuberculosis, the author calculated theoretically the age-distribution and death on tuberculous patient and compared those theoretical distributions with statistical distributions. He also calculated expectant life span for tuberculous patients from his materials and obtained 2.69 years for male, 2.16 years for female. Multiplying those numbers into the number of death from tuberculosis he estimated number of patients as approximately 500, 000 in Japan.
