Abstract

Dye based ink is widely used for inkjet application, but suffers low durability and slow color stability. Recently pigmented inkjet ink is very interested in for print durability and high optical density. To apply the pigment dispersion for inkjet ink, many physical requirements has to be managed. Comparing several types of pigment dispersion, the encapsulated pigment is thought suitable for inkjet application. In this document the performance of encapsulated pigment are described comparing with other type of pigment dispersions.
