Abstract
Recently, the application range is expanding especially an industrial inkjet fields by innovation of inkjet technology. Our company developed an inkjet head that used the thin film piezo for an industrial field, and are supplying for the on-demand printers. The ink jet has the feature that information different by one piece and one piece can be printed because the version is unnecessary in an industrial fields. High longevity, a high-speed print, and the low running cost become important requirements.
The developed inkjet head was able to make the best use of the feature of the thin film, to high-speed drive small, and, in addition, to achieve the head and the direction of the print was diagonally in a high density arranged, and two or more line heads of arbitrary length were achieved by arranging it. This line head device has been commercialized and is now being used in commercial on-demand printers for applications such as printing bills, educational texts and newspapers and printing on building materials. It introduces the key technology that achieves the thin film inkjet line head for the on-demand printer in this paper.
