Abstract
This study conducted research into problems with the Japanese targeting Chinese employees in Japanese companies. This was done through a questionnaire as well as interviews with Chinese employees. The specific contents are the issue of Japanese language ability among Chinese employees in Japanese companies and what language difficulties they faced. The results showed that there was conflict in areas other than business conversation that has traditionally been handled in textbooks in Japanese language education. These are mainly writing business documents such as e-mails or reports and professional terms in explanations or documents. It was discovered that, in actual business situations, Chinese employees have issues in different dimensions. In conclusion, based on these circumstances, teaching Japanese to Chinese employees was advocated.
